Father’s Day 2016

Once again the month of June means that Father’s Day 2016 is on the way. This year you have to get him on one of our boat trips to really show you appreciate him and everything he’s done for you.

Let’s be honest. Father’s Day 2016 on June 19th is a great opportunity for you to show the man that’s loves you just what you really think of him. I realise that some of you will be thinking to yourself,

Grumpy is lucky if I even bother to get him a card when I’d rather get myself a Maccy D’s”

But for most of you the chance to take one day of the year to say,

Yeah, thanks and that for all the stuff and whatever”

is something that you really want to be able to get right you eloquent bunch of grateful kids.

So what’s Father’s Day really about for your dad?

Sure, there’s a small part of daddy that just wants to know that you love him and you appreciate him. Your card will cover that quite nicely and it’s nice that you tried. But what’s Father’s Day really about for dad?

Well let me share the secret with you. All over the country, every year, fathers go to work on the Monday after Father’s Day and most try to avoid even bringing it up in conversation. They’re worried about having to admit that once again they got a cold cup of coffee and some burnt toast in bed as a ‘special breakfast’.

They’re worried that they will have to tell their mates about the picture they stuck on the fridge this morning of the deformed stick man that says ‘I love daddy’.

Most of all. And this is the big one. They are mostly trying to avoid a conversation with Dave who every year gets a great experience on Father’s Day. Last year Dave went skydiving with Pamela Anderson (ask your dad) and this year his kids are sending him on a day driving race cars round a race track.

Just for once, let your dad be Dave. He would love to rub his mate’s face in it by saying ‘My kids got me a trip on a power boat with Get Lost Sailing! No socks, no tie and no home made mug with a crooked handle! In your face!’

Make Father’s Day 2016 Really Special

Click on the link for our Gift Vouchers. For as little as £35 you can get him a voucher for a Wet & Wild ride that he can shove down Dave’s stupid neck. As an extra help, we’ll still redeem it if it’s soggy.

See you on the water soon. Have fun and Get Lost!
