Working 9 to 5 – the daily grind

Quiet Days

When we’re working 9 to 5 at Get Lost Sailing, people often ask us what we do on a cold day and there aren’t any customers around. It can be really hard going at times. You see, the problem is that we have a box that we keep for customers that’s full of fun. If nobody turns up on the day for whatever reason that fun has to be used up. Otherwise the box would burst and there would be unconstrained fun all over the place.

Helpful Crew

Fortunately, at Get Lost Sailing, we have an experienced crew who are able to use up the fun before there are any major incidents. They are quite capable of working 9 to 5 and disposing of the excess fun before the Poole Harbour Commissioners decide there’s been a breach of Health and Safety!

Video Proof – Working 9 to 5

The video clearly shows how diligent the crew are at carrying out this important fun dispersing task when called upon. They do their best to spread it around the harbour and pass it on to other water users with the use of a smile and a friendly wave! This usually results in getting a wave back and the fun being harmlessly discharged into the environment.

How You Can Help

As I’m sure you can imagine, all this extra work on top of the busy days running our popular trips can really take it’s toll on the crew. Particular side effects include excessive tanning of the face from prolonged exposure to the sun (even when it’s cold) and development of Repetitive Smile Injury (RSI). If you get the time and would like to make a donation then please…….

Your donation will be used to spread fun to yourself and your friends, allow some sunshine to tan your faces and also allow you all to smile more.

Please Note

Smiling irresponsibly can lead to Repetitive Smile Injury (RSI) and is only recommended for people in need of some fun in their lives. If you have any doubts about smiling, or how to do it safely, please contact your GP. While the crew are responsible for dishing out fun they cannot be held responsible for it’s side effects. In extreme cases you may even end up questioning what the hell you’re doing with your life.
