The May Sundowner is set to be a great event. Happening on [highlight style=”default”]May 2oth at 20:15[/highlight] the May Sundowner cruise will coincide with the start of the Poole Boat Show and their Friday night fireworks!
The sun will be completing it’s daily ritual and setting behind Old Harry at about 21:00. We will take a laid back, easy ride out there to chill out and relax while taking in the scenery. Those shutter bugs amongst you can take some pictures of nature’s finest!
The return journey will be a leisurely one back through the harbour at dusk in time for the grande finale…………….
Fireworks for the May Sundowner!
The first day of the Poole Boat Show is marked by fireworks at 21:30. We will stop in the harbour and watch them from the water while the fireworks are set off from floating barges. The Poole Town skyline will be lit up behind the display for a unique and intimate view of this special event.
The stands for the boat show will be set up on Friday morning so why not make a day of it. There are loads of exhibitors along the quayside that you can visit. Just check out the link above to see who’s there.
After the fireworks we will head into shore and you can expect to be finished by 22:00 at the latest. After that the time is your own so why not finish the day with a laid back pint or a fancy cocktail in one of the many bars that line the quay?
