Heart Radio – Bournemouth Bay Run Competition

This years Bournemouth Bay Run was a great success with Get Lost Sailing providing the prizes for the half marathon winners. Heart radio sponsored the event and we gave them a little treat to give away on Easter Sunday as part of their Easter Eggs-travaganza.

Congratulations to Nicky Jones who called into Heart Radio! She has won an excellent day out for her and five members of her friends and family on one of our epic sea safaris! She had to call in and answer how many miles in a 5k run? Is it 3.1 or 4.1?

If you want to know you can listen to this podcast.

I have spoken with Nicky on the phone and it’s great to hear just how excited she is. We will be welcoming her husband and her children with her soon. I believe her friends are still being chosen so I hope they’re being nice to her!

On the day the half marathon was won by Joshua Cole with a fantastic time of 1:14:53. A great many of the runners had Just Giving pages set up for the British Heart Foundation and lots of money has gone to this great cause. You can find out more about them, their mission and donate on their website HERE
