Creative Marketing Behind Get Lost Sailing

As a new boat trip provider on Poole Quay, we needed help with the marketing and advertising requirements we needed to consider when starting up our business. Thankfully the guys at JStreet Creative were able offer their excellent creative marketing services to help create the branding and promotional materials we needed to ensure our boat trip business hit the water with the wind behind us.

What was needed

Having got our head around the business plan, the services we had to offer and getting the website live, it soon dawned on us that there was a quite a bit more work to be done from a customer facing perspective.

Although acceptable, our existing logo lacked presence. Jamie came to us with a great logo design that we could instantly see being using on all of our promotional materials.

The logo has gone now features on promotional materials including uniforms, flyers, boat signage and A Boards. It’s really helped to give us a presence on Poole Quay and is instantly recognisable. I’m sure you will become familiar with it!

Additional Creative Marketing Services

The JStreet Creative team have gone on to produce the marketing pamphlet for Get Lost Sailing, which will be given out on the Quay and be available from a multitude of hotels throughout the area. Highlighting all of our trips, what you can see from the boat and the fun that can be had, for us it delivers everything we needed to get potential customers excited about our business.

We also needed an A board poster designed for use on Poole Quay and follow the same theme as the pamphlet, the design was perfect. Big and bold, and highlighting all of our tours it really has some presence on the Quay.

Noel Hutchinson

Noel has been sailing and boating for many years. He holds a commercially endorsed YM certificate and advanced power boat certificate. He is also a RYA instructor for dinghies, multihulls, power boats and personal water craft. When not on the water he will be walking his dogs, climbing or skydiving. Anything to put his phone down! (But GoPros are ok).
